Schlössli Rubigen Prize

Schlössli Rubigen has been an artists' house for decades and the artists Ekkehard and Herbert Kohlund delighted their guests with beautiful exhibitions of paintings in the 1970s and 80s.

The tradition of the open artists' house is being continued by the current owners of Schlössli Rubigen, Barbara and Housi Knecht. Since 2024, the "Schlössli Rubigen Prize" created by Housi Knecht has been awarded every year at the opening of the summer exhibition to a person who has achieved outstanding things in their life.

The motto is: Strong as a bear - the Schlössli Rubigen Prize
